Common Law Admission Test (CLAT)

CLAT Eligibility Criteria
Undergraduate (UG) Course
- There is no upper age limit for candidates appearing for UG Program through the CLAT.
- Candidates must secure the following minimum percentage of marks in their qualifying examination (i.e., 10+2 or an equivalent examination).
- Forty Five Percent (45%) Marks or its equivalent grade in case of candidates belonging to General / OBC / PwD / NRI / PIO / OCI / Categories.
- Forty Percent (40%) Marks or equivalent in case of candidates belonging to SC / ST Candidates.

PUNJAB UNIVERSITY (PU) LLB ENTRANCE EXAM
The PU LLB entrance exam is conducted by Panjab University Chandigarh for admissions to Five-year BA LLB and B.Com LLB and three-year LLB courses at Department of Law Chandigarh and its constituent colleges in Punjab. The exam is held in offline mode in the Month of May/June.
PU LLB EXAM PATTERN
The PU LLB syllabus has three sections – Current Affairs and GK, Legal Aptitude, and Reasoning Ability and English. The PU LLB entrance exam will include a total of 100 objective-type questions and duration of exam is 90 minutes. There are 480 LLB seats in PU law department.

MARKING SCHEME IN PU LLB ENTRANCE EXAM
+1 mark will be awarded for a correct answer and there is negative marking in PU LLB Entrance exam of .25 marks.
